Telemundo
Though many third-generation Latinos can’t speak Spanish, they’d like to be more familiar with the culture.
The solution?
Create a language toggle on the #1 Spanish Network so people can watch according to their ability.
Subtitles
An option will be added to the bottom of programs that allows people to choose the ratio of English to Spanish coming out.
Pre-roll
We’ll tease the new feature on Hulu.
(Fun fact: I shaved my beard to make this)
Mailer
Three attached postcards with soft writing prompts will be sent out. By tearing, people will be able to send letters back home based on their individual Spanish proficiency.
Alexa
We’ll also create an Alexa skill set activated by calling out “Alessandra”.
Turning the top will change the language ratio coming out.
Giphy
Communication is more than words, so we’ll unveil Telemundo Giphys.
Holding down the gifs will give people the option to share moments from their favorite shows at their respective Spanish levels.
Thank You.
Muchos Thank Yous.
Gracias.
