ADCOLOR

In 2023, I was tasked with deciding the theme of ADCOLOR in response to waning industry interest in DE&I. The timing couldn’t have felt any more urgent. in 2023, DEI programs faced relentless attacks, ranging from the elimination of affirmative action to the introduction of anti-diversity legislation, cuts in corporate DEI program funding, and the rollback of LGBTQ+ rights.

For the 2023 ADCOLOR conference, we crafted the theme, "Double Down, Double Up," aimed to rekindle an emphasis and investment in DEI and redoubling resources and allyship for our diverse community.
